DO-YEON KIM Broadcast Journalist | North Korea Correspondent As a broadcast journalist and North Korea correspondent for Arirang News in Seoul, my reporting focuses on North Korean affairs, unification policy, and economic developments. From 2023 to 2025, I served as a presidential office correspondent within the main press pool, having previously anchored morning news broadcasts and covered the National Assembly. Prior to that, I led coverage of Korea's economic and industrial sectors, reporting on the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Bank of Korea. Before entering journalism, I spent four years in Washington, D.C., working as a legal IT and eDiscovery consultant at Knovos LLC and supporting legal operations at K&L Gates. This followed 17 years of residence in the United States. I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science from George Washington University and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in public administration at Yonsei University. I completed voluntary military service in the South Korean Army's 17th Division Search Battalion.
