I am a broadcast journalist and the Business & Economy Team Leader at Arirang TV in Seoul. I direct editorial strategy and provide objective, factual analysis of South Korea's macroeconomic policy and industrial landscape for a global audience. My regular coverage includes serving as a pool reporter for the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Bank of Korea. I also produce in-depth documentaries and conduct on-location reporting at major global tech summits, including CES.
Prior to my current role, I served as a Presidential Correspondent covering the top office and the Yoon Suk Yeol administration through to his impeachment. During this time, I led reporting on the People Power Party's presidential campaign and secured exclusive political insights. My earlier broadcast experience includes anchoring the network's one-hour main morning news, where I conducted daily live interviews with subject matter experts, and reporting as a Political and National Correspondent.
I grew up in the United States and am a U.S. Green Card holder. Before transitioning to journalism, I spent four years working in the legal sector in Washington, D.C. I served as a Senior Project Coordinator at Knovos LLC and as a Paralegal at K&L Gates and Steptoe & Johnson, LLP. This background provides a rigorous analytical foundation that directly informs my structured approach to economic and policy reporting today.
I hold a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Public Administration at Yonsei University. I also completed my military service as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army's 17th Division Reconnaissance Battalion.
